The Shimano Zee cranks are an amazing crankset for Bike life or mtb at a very reasonable price. They utilize heavy duty aluminum cranks arms that are thick but designed with a lot of recessed areas to keep them nice & light. The pedal bosses have a metal insert to prevent them from stripping out. The two piece design is constructed out of chromoly and is significantly hollowed out to reduce the weight. The crankset even comes with a 104 BCD 36t chainring to prevent tight loose spots in your chain. The built is spider is an excellent choice if you are riding fixed because your sprocket will not comes loose while applying crank pressure forward and backwards. The Zee cranks come with a sealed euro 68/78mm bottom brackets you know it will work on any bike with a euro bottom bracket. These cranks even work with press fit bottom brackets you just need to purchase a press fit bottom bracket separately. If you are tired of bending cranks bolt these on and keep rolling.
